OSCam/CCcam Auto Install Scripts Version1 20.01.2012 By Silverfox0786

OSCam/CCcam Auto Install Scripts Version1 20.01.2012 By Silverfox0786

Finally got my Finger out and present Version 1

please report bugs and other things here

Release Note

Here is a brilliant script for installed the full works OScam & CCcam server on an Ubuntu x86 Install

This package consists of OScam 6180 and CCcam 2.13

This package is CCcam.x86 and standard smargo cfg and OScamx86 will standard CFG for smargo and pre setup to work as CCCAM, Newcamd and Camd35 servers

As an added bonus i have also put into the install the option to address and add a fixed ip address to the server and also symlinks so when you ftp into the server you will go to home as standard and will find little symlinks sitting there taking to to logs binarys and configs

So first things first if not already done so download and install Ubuntu x86 10.10
get it from here
Code:
http://www.ubuntu.com/desktop/get-ubuntu/download
for a USB Stick install download pendrive linux from here
Code:
http://www.pendrivelinux.com/
whilst that is downloading/installing you will need to do a few things before you can begin

you will need to open up in text editor the serverinstall.sh file then within the linux_softcam_pack folder open LogCleanUp.sh and configupdate.sh [that's 3 script files]
at the top ish of the script you will see OWNER=card change card to the username of your system install that is on all 3 script files
Then...
decide on a fixed IP address you want to use keep it in mind
Now open up folder within linux_softcam_pack called www
Now open in text editor config.php
There you will see and IP address 192.168.x.x change the x to the ip address you decided on
the bottom line you will see a password xxx change that to your liking

now that's all done you are ready to go. Place the extracted ubuntu_cccam_package folder and the UbuntuInstall.sh into root/tmp/
you must log into root via sudo -I as bellow
open telnet session
Code:
card@ubuntu:~$ sudo -I [sudo] password for ubuntu: >fill in your password.< root@ubuntu:~# chmod 755 /tmp/serverinstall.sh root@ubuntu:~# /tmp/serverinstall.sh
might sound crazy but that's it just let it run

Say yes to everything and proftpd as standalone

Set yr IPs here now carefully

your pc will auto restart once done then that's it all is well you will find all relevant items installed and oscam & cccam running

plug in yr smargo reader without card and perform in telnet
Code:
card@ubuntu:~$ lsusb
look for an output similar to this
Code:
Bus 002 Device 002: ID 0403:6001 Future Technology Devices International, Ltd FT232 USB-Serial (UART) IC
then
Code:
card@ubuntu:~$ dmesg
look for an output similar to this
Code:
[ 23.529481] usb 2-2: FTDI USB Serial Device converter now attached to ttyUSB0
This means smargo is all working then just configure your config file so it will actually read the card your gonna use

Now to explain the cronjobs that are added

CCcam/OScam shuts down at 5:55 AM allowing for the jobs bellow
The users/peers/server are backed up at 5.56 AM in /var/cccamlogs
When you want to change the config it can be done ones a day and its automatic at 5:57 AM just place new config file in folder var/config. A backup of your old config will be placed in var/backup
keyupdate ones a night at 5:58 AM
Then CCcam starts again at 5:59 AM

This server checks CCcam every 6 min with a check script, and when it has to restart
it writes a log named CCcam.check in /var/cccamlog
and it starts CCcam in debug and writes the a CCcam.log
This can create big logs that's why there is also a log cleanup script that cleans the logs ones a week. at 06:05 AM

please do not change any setting or times on the cron tasks they must remain as they are or you will suffer server problems and Oscam/CCcam will be out of sync and will not run correctly a 6 min check interval and a 5 min task cronjob will keep in sync so Oscam/CCCam will check at 5:54 AM At 5:55 AM CCcam will stop Allcronjobs will take place and Oscam/CCcam will restart at 5:59 AM and next check will be at 6:00 AM so the cron job must complete within the check time frame. or it will report as CCcam not working and everything will crash. then a weekly cleanup at 6:05 AM and another check at 6:06 AM

CCaminfo.php by TooGoody v1.02

This every one should know what it is and what it does

To use it open up firefox and type in the IP of your Server the password you set in config.php and away you go you can see all your server details in one swoop

on any machine on yr local network you can open up any Internet browser and type the IP of your server and you will get the CCcaminfo page open up

Once this all configured u will never realy have to ever attach it to a keyboard, mouse or monitor...

SHH/Telnet and ftp will work straight off just use yr machine username and password and if u wanna go one more step then set up remote desktop on Ubuntu and use realVNC to access its DestopGUI

Easy install of oscam on Enigma2 ( mips-tuxbox ) based STB .

Easy install of oscam on Enigma2 ( mips-tuxbox ) based STB .

[TUTORIAL] Easy install of OScam on Enigma2 (mips-tuxbox) based STB without the need of any third party plugin or SoftCam Manager pre-installed.

Goal:

Install OSCam on a STB running Enigma2 (mips-tuxbox plateform) without the need of another plugin or a softcam manager.

This way of working should work for almost any E2 image, there will be no integration with any SoftCam Manager but we will install a very good plugin dedicated to OScam, which will allows you to control the OScam status and even restart it: OScamStatus.

Pre-requisite:

- a linux Enigma2 based STB on which you can run OScam in its mips-tuxbox version (to be able to use the pack like it is)
- your stb should have an internal card reader referenced by /dev/sci0
- being able to connect to your STB in telnet and FTP (with DCC or any other program)
- being able to follow and type some simple commands or being able to do cut and paste :-)
- we consider that your STB has no other running softcam before following this tutorial (typically on a brand new E2 image installation). If another softcam is running, it can prevent OScam from running properly.

Installation:

Take the pack attached to this tutorial (easy-oscam.tgz).
Transfer the pack in the folder /tmp of your E2 STB by FTP.

Connect via telnet and type the following commands (or even better make cut and paste) the cd / at the very beginning is really important don't skip it:

Code:
cd /
Code:
tar -xvzf /tmp/easy-oscam.tgz
Code:
/tmp/oscam-install.sh
Your STB will make a full reboot.

Now you have:

- OScam installed on your STB in the folder /usr/bin and the configuration files are in /var/tuxbox/config
- OScam will autostart when you reboot your STB.
- OScam is active in dvbapi mode so it is self sufficien, no need for any other softcam to run.
- The web interface of OScam is accessible from http://ip_address_of_receiver:16001 (Login: username password: password)
- The internal card reader /dev/sci0 is enabled
- The plugin Oscam Status release 0.41-r0 is installed

With the plugin OScam Status you can control the status and even restart your OScam, no need to any SoftCam Manager integration specific for each image.
It should appears in your Plugins list. If you change the login / password of the OScam webif, don't forget to change it too in the Oscam Status plugin otherwhise it won't work anymore.

Good to know:

The OScam executable is installed into the folder /usr/bin
The OScam configuration files are placed into the folder /var/tuxbox/config

If you want to test a newer version of OScam you just need to:

- Copy the new executable version (we will call it: The_New_Name_of_the_new_version) into the /usr/bin folder.

Go in telnet and type:

Code:
cd /usr/bin
Code:
killall oscam
Code:
rm oscam
Code:
ln -s The_New_Name_of_the_new_version oscam
Code:
chmod 755 oscam
Code:
sync
Code:
sync
Code:
reboot -f

Tutorial : Lock cardreader to specific usb port

Tutorial : Lock cardreader to specific usb port smargo, omnikey

Those that use smargos or omnikey in a linux pc setup have probably come across the frustration that after a reboot the smargos no longer correspond to the device positions which you have setup in your relevant cams and your card won't read . A very easy trick is as follows : -

create the following wordpad document with this text :-

SUBSYSTEMS=="usb", ATTRS{idProduct}=="6001", ATTRS{idVendor}=="0403",
SYMLINK+="ttyUSB_%b", KERNEL=="ttyUSB[0123456789]", MODE="0666"

save it as "52_reader"

ftp the file into etc/udev on linux . chmod to 755 then reboot pc and setup your usb on oscam/cccam etc ,thats it !

Then give your pc another reboot and test.

regards

master G

Please see the detailed explanation of update as below.

Unzip the solo_cfe_2.0_usb.zip to USB stick. (There should be /vuplus/solo/cfe_cfe_auto.bin)
Insert USB stick into the USB port of solo and power on the box.
It takes just a few secs to update.

To proceed with image update, you should delete the cfe_cfe_auto.bin at /vuplus/solo in USB stick once bootloader update is finished.

How To: Fix Hard Drive not showing in Device Manager with Telnet Commands VU+

How To: Fix Hard Drive not showing in Device Manager with Telnet Commands VU+

I installed a 500gb hard disk and this gave me a problem. It didn't show up in the devices list and so I couldn't mount it.

I typed :-

fdisk -l

This listed the hard disk and reported it had no partition table. Hence the reason the VU+ doesn't see the drive.

Next I made a partition and formatted it.

I typed :-

fdisk /dev/sda

then I typed :-

w

(write new partition table and exit)

Lastly I typed :-

mkfs.ext3 /dev/sda

Once this was completed I restarted the box and now it showed in the devices list. I selected /media/hdd as it's mount point.

Cyfra Update Fix For Oscam and Mgcamd

Cyfra Update Fix For Oscam and Mgcamd

Do you have Cyfra+ card and you have problems with updating your card?

Use oscam+mgcamd combination and everything works as it should.

Attached is oscam6034+Mgcamd138 for BlackHole image.

FOR OSCAM

####oscam.server####

Code:
[reader] label = cyfra protocol = pcsc #–> this is for omnikey, replace this with your cardreader device = 0 detect = cd mhz = 357 cardmhz = 357 group = x # (whatever you want) emmcache = 1,3,2
####oscam.user####

Code:
user = linuxsat pwd = support group = x #(it should be the same as in the oscam.server file) au = cyfra #(the same as the Label in the oscam.server file)
####oscam.conf####

Code:
[newcamd] port = 19000@0100:000068 key = 0102030405060708091011121314
Oscam is now configured.

FOR MGCAMD

You need to edit the file newcamd.list (location is /usr/keys) and put these details in:

Code:
CWS_KEEPALIVE = 300 CWS_INCOMING_PORT = 21000 CWS = 192.168.1.67 19000 linuxsat support 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 lan server1
192.168.1.67 is the IP address of my OSCAM server, you need to change this to your own ip address.

19000 is the same as in oscam.conf file.

linuxsat/support are the same as in oscam.user file!

You also need to edit mg_cfg file. look for these lines:

PHP Code:
# network mode, use summ for several clients
# 00 no network (default)
# 01 newcamd netclient
# 02 radegast netclient
# 04 camd3 netclient
# 08 gbox netclient
G: { 33 }
G setting should be set to 33.

You can also try with setting 01 if you are using newcamd only.

With 33 setting you can use CCcam and Newcamd protocols at the same time.

You should now get EMM updates to your card!
